Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use this website or engage us to work on your local visibility. Please read them — using the site or starting a project means you accept them.

Using this website

You may use this site to find out about our services, request an audit, book a call and send us an enquiry. You agree not to misuse it — no automated scraping that burdens our servers, no attempts to gain access to areas you were not given, and no submitting another person's information as your own.

Prices shown anywhere on this site are not offered contracts. A quote or a proposal we send you, once accepted, is what governs a project.

What we do

We optimize Google Business Profiles and build websites that turn local searches into customers. Our core work includes Google Business Profile posts, review replies, video creation and upload, social media automation, website and AI SEO, image optimization, heatmap reporting and review generation — and we take on whatever else your market needs. The exact scope of a project is the one we agree in writing with you.

No guarantee of rankings

Search results, map rankings and the behaviour of AI assistants are controlled by third parties who change their systems constantly. We bring proven methods, we report honestly, and we work hard — but we cannot promise a specific position, a specific number of calls or leads, or any particular outcome, and no statement on this site is a guarantee that you will.

Statistics and figures on this site are published industry research or platform averages. They describe what has been observed across many businesses, not a prediction about yours.

What we need from you

  • Accurate information about your business, and prompt updates when anything changes — hours, service area, categories, ownership.
  • Access to the accounts and profiles you want us to manage, and the right to give us that access.
  • Timely approvals where we ask for them, including replies to negative reviews that we hold for a person rather than answer automatically.
  • Ownership of, or permission to use, every photo, video, logo, review and text you send us.
  • Not holding us responsible for a platform refusing, removing or limiting content that you or we submit.

Fees and billing

Fees are set out in the agreement we sign with you, not on this website. Work starts once any deposit or first payment we asked for has cleared, unless we have agreed otherwise.

  • Third-party costs — hosting, domain renewals, listing subscriptions, ad spend and any tool we set up in your name — are yours to pay, and we will always tell you before charging you for one.
  • Late invoices may pause work until they are settled.
  • Money paid for work already delivered is not refundable; if we have been paid in advance for work we have not done, we return the unused part.

Access to your accounts

Where you give us login or admin access, we use it only for the work you hired us for, never for anything unrelated, and never after a project ends unless you have asked us to stay. We hand back every account in good order, and we ask you to change shared passwords when we finish.

Who owns what

  • Your business information, branding, content and reviews stay yours.
  • Once you have paid in full, the website we built and the content we created for you are yours to keep and edit.
  • Our own tools, templates, processes, automation configurations and know-how remain ours, and we can reuse what we learn anywhere.
  • You may not resell our services under your own brand unless we have agreed that separately.

Third-party platforms

Much of the work happens on services we do not control — Google Business Profile, Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, directory listings and booking tools. Their terms and policies apply to your accounts as well as ours, and they can change or remove features, suspend accounts or alter ranking systems at any time. We are not responsible for what those platforms do, and you remain responsible for keeping your accounts compliant with their rules.

No warranties

This website and everything in it are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost leads, lost revenue, lost goodwill or lost data — arising from your use of this site or from the services we provide.

Where we are liable, our total responsibility for a project is capped at the amount you have paid us for that project in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

If you make a claim against us

You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim arises from information you gave us that was wrong or that you had no right to share, from content you supplied, or from your breach of these terms.

Ending a project

Either side can end an ongoing engagement with written notice. We can stop work immediately for non-payment, for information we discover to be false, or where continuing would breach a platform policy or the law.

On ending, we hand over what has been completed, you pay for work already done, and we remove our access to your accounts.

General

  • These terms, together with the agreement we sign with you and our privacy policy, are the whole understanding between us.
  • If any part of them is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
  • If we do not enforce something now, we can still enforce it later.
  • We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continued use of the site or services means you accept the update.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Local One Digital, LLC is organized.
